Luanda (Angola), January 15, 2025 (SPS) - The Sahrawi ambassador to Angola and Namibia, Mr. Hamdi Khalil Mayara, participated in a conference on governance in the capital, Luanda.
Attending the conference were members of the ruling party, the government, and the National Assembly.
This occasion provided the Sahrawi diplomat an opportunity to meet with Angolan leadership, including leaders, ministers, and deputies, where he briefed them on the latest developments regarding the Sahrawi issue and the current situation characterized by direct confrontation with Moroccan occupation following Morocco's violation of the ceasefire agreement.
For their part, members of the Angolan leadership reiterated their support for the Sahrawi people and its just cause, urging Morocco to comply with international legitimacy.
