Auserd Wilaya, September 20, 2026 (SPS) — The proceedings of the specialized conference on the curriculum for Original Education commenced today, Sunday, in the Wilaya of Auserd.
The event was supervised by Mr. Sid Ahmed Aleyat, member of the National Secretariat and Minister of Religious Affairs and Original Education, alongside Ms. Khira Bulahi, member of the National Secretariat,Governor of Auserd, in the presence of Quranic teachers and original education supervisors from various wilayas.
The conference aims to review and develop the curriculum for original education, exploring ways to enhance the educational and pedagogical process in alignment with the distinct nature of Quranic instruction and its vital role in instilling religious, moral, and national values in younger generations.
During the sessions, participants discussed a working document prepared by a specialized committee from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Original Education. Covering various facets of the original education curriculum, the document served as a focal point for discussion, feedback, and the exchange of views to establish a more integrated and effective educational framework.
The event also provided a platform to exchange expertise among Quranic teaching personnel across different wilayas, address challenges facing the original education sector, and identify mechanisms to upgrade its tools and methodologies.
On this occasion, the Minister of Religious Affairs and Original Education officially announced the opening of the new academic year for original education, wishing students, teachers, and administrators success in fulfilling their educational mission while highlighting the importance of collective efforts to achieve the sector's goals.
