Sahrawi Republic elected vice-chair for North Africa on Social and Behaviour Change Communication

Nouakchott (Mauritania), September 21, 2026 (SPS) – The Sahrawi Republic has been elected Vice-Chair representing the North Africa region within the Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBC) Community of Practice (CoPA).

The election took place during a regional workshop organized in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, where the leadership of the North African Regional Team on Social and Behaviour Change Communication was elected.

The Sahrawi Republic is also participating in a regional workshop on Social and Behaviour Change Communication, represented by Mr. Hayaye Ahmed Baba Hayaye, Director of Information and Awareness at the Ministry of Public Health.
