Montevideo (Uruguay), March 2, 2025 (SPS) - The São Paulo Forum has renewed its support and solidarity with the Sahrawi people until the achievement of full sovereignty and national independence.
In a statement issued on the occasion of its invitation to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Uruguayan President Yamandú Orsi, which took place on Saturday in the capital, Montevideo, the Forum reaffirmed its solidarity with the Palestinian and Sahrawi peoples which is struggling against Moroccan occupation to attain its sovereignty and complete independence.
The statement added that the best path for peoples who are fighting and facing killings and persecution by occupying governments is to continue their struggle and fight for their right to a free and just homeland.
