Foreign and African Affairs Minister represents President of Republic at African Water Summit plenary session in South Africa

Cape Town, South Africa – August 13, 2025 (SPS) – Mr. Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Affairs, represented His Excellency President Brahim Ghali at the plenary session of the African Water Investment Summit held in Cape Town, South Africa.

In his address, the Minister emphasized the critical importance of water as a vital issue for national security, political and social stability, and economic development in Africa.

He expressed deep appreciation to South Africa for hosting and organizing the summit with excellence.

He further highlighted that the inclusion of water development issues in the G20 agenda reflects South Africa’s commitment as a brotherly nation to advancing development and investment in Africa.
