Accra (Ghana), August 13, 2025 (SPS) – Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, a member of the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, has emphasized that peace and justice are indispensable conditions for achieving development and stability.

Speaking at the African Summit of Political Parties, where he attended as a representative of the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front and the President of the Republic, Mr. Brahim Ghali, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar stressed that Africa possesses a strong legal foundation, including the Constitutive Act of the African Union and its various institutions, which oblige African nations to respect inherited borders at independence, reject any occupation, and defend the right of all African peoples to self-determination.

Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar added that the priority today must be implementing this charter to ensure good neighborliness among states and build a united Africa for its peoples. He affirmed that there is no better guarantee than respecting international law and upholding the principles of liberating the continent from colonialism, racism, and the injustices imposed by the powerful.

Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar reiterated the Polisario Front’s deep commitment to the struggle for the respect of international law and for a strong, prosperous, and united Africa capable of resolving its internal issues independently. He called on attendees to make this summit a new collective starting point toward broader horizons, where African political parties serve the people, continental unity, and the future they aspire to build.

Parties that establish institutions linking political action with ethics, efficiency, and cooperation—tools capable of achieving the goals of Agenda 2063—in short, a new and serious African renaissance.
