Shaheed Al-Hafed, January 18, 2025 (SPS) - A delegation from the Panama Friends of the Sahrawi People Association visited Saturday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they were received by the Director in charge of Latin America and several members of the diplomatic corps.
The delegation received detailed explanations about the developments of the Sahrawi issue at the regional and international levels.
The President of the Panama Friends of the Sahrawi People Association, Mrs. Gloria Castillo, stated to the media that the Association's position of solidarity with the Sahrawi people until achieving full independence remains steadfast, emphasizing the need to intensify the Association's efforts among the Panamanian civil society, as well as with associations, parties, and organizations within Panama.
The delegation, consisting of the President of the Friends of the Sahrawi People Association and representatives from labor unions, institutions, university professors, and journalists from various Panamanian media, will hold meetings and visit Sahrawi state institutions.
