Wilaya of Boujdour, June 17, 2025 (SPS) – The Minister of Education and Vocational Training, member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, commended the results achieved during the 2024/2025 academic year.
In his speech at the closing ceremony of the school year, held in the wilaya of Boujdour, he highlighted the success rates of 78.90% in primary education and 65.40% in middle school education.
He emphasized that these accomplishments were the result of dedicated and collective efforts by teachers, educators, and administrators, praising their hard work and commitment in overcoming challenges.
The minister extended special gratitude to friendly nations that have supported Sahrawi students, particularly Algeria, which has hosted the Sahrawi people and students across various educational levels for many years.
He also thanked Cuba for its contributions to Sahrawi students, including the establishment of the Simón Bolívar School, and acknowledged the efforts of educational partners such as UNICEF, the UNHCR, and various NGOs.
The minister reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to improving education quality and ensuring equal opportunities for all Sahrawi students, despite the difficult circumstances.
