Berlin (Germany), August 26, 2024 (SPS) - The Cultural Exchange Center in Berlin hosted an art exhibition that introduces the culture and traditions of the Sahrawi people, by the Sahrawi artist Walad Mohamed Mahmoud.
The exhibition titled "Sirocco: From El Aaiun to Berlin" is part of the cultural week to raise awareness about the Sahrawi cause, and will continue until August 29th. It is an important artistic and cultural stop to introduce the cause of the Sahrawi people through the lens of art.
The exhibition, inaugurated by the representative of the Polisario Front in Germany, Najat Handi, was organized by the "Tiris Tent" Association and the Peace Organization. It features a collection of paintings that highlight the life of the Sahrawis in its various humanitarian and political aspects. It aims to provide an honest glimpse into the suffering of the Sahrawi people and their hopes through artistic works that reflect their daily experience.
