Boumerdes (Algeria), July 18, 2024 (SPS) - The National Union of Sahrawi Women signed a cooperation and partnership agreement with the Algerian National Association for the Support and Promotion of Rural Women.
The agreement, which was concluded on the sidelines of the Summer University for Sahrawi Cadres in the Algerian wilaya of Boumerdes, was signed on the Sahrawi side by the Secretary-General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women, Ms. Shaba Seini, and on the Algerian side by the President of the Association, Ms. Ben Joudi Dalila.
The agreement aims to consolidate cooperation and partnership between the Algerian association and the National Union of Sahrawi Women, which is concerned with the affairs of Sahrawi women, to achieve the common goals between the two bodies in the areas of training, education and accompaniment.
The agreement also aims to expand the Sahrawi women’s Union relations with international organizations and associations in promoting Sahrawi women and attracting international support and solidarity with the just cause of the Sahrawi people.
The agreement urges the exchange of visits between the two parties to follow up on the implementation of all the terms of the agreement in all areas (institutions, facilities, training centers).
