Shaheed Al-Hafed, 12 November 2024 (SPS) - The Council of Ministers has approved the evaluation of the government's annual program for 2023 and the draft program for 2024 at a meeting held Saturday, chaired by President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, in order to be presented for approval before the National Council in its next session.
According to the statement that concluded the meeting of the Council of Ministers , the meeting listened to a presentation by the Prime Minister on the general objectives of the government's program for 2024, which was discussed and examined by the meeting.
The Sahrawi government, the statement added, is seeking to present an ambitious program that takes into account the exceptionality of the national cause and is based on the reference of the decisions of the sixteenth congress of the Polisario Front, the directives of the National Secretariat and the results of the evaluations of the executive and legislative bodies of the government's performance.
The draft annual program for 2024 includes a number of major objectives that begin with strengthening the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army, supporting the independence intifada, and strengthening the role of the Sahrawi communities abroad.
Among many other points, the objectives included the continuous improvement of the level of various areas of national affairs, from education and health to administration, public order and religious affairs, in addition to the media, cultural and diplomatic fronts, and the development of the economic sector's capabilities and the performance of institutions and the promotion of services for citizens.
