Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), November 26, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic , Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Yamandu Orsi on the occasion of his election as President of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.
In his message, President Brahim Ghali expressed, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Sahrawi people and the government of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, his warmest congratulations and best wishes for success to the new President of Uruguay, who will assume his presidential duties in March, following the elections on October 27.
The President further stated in his message, "As I convey my sincere congratulations and best wishes for your success, I also want to affirm my government's readiness to continue to strengthen and deepen the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and solidarity with your government and your people, with whom we share strong ties of brotherhood, culture, and history."
