Shaheed Al-Hafed, February 28, 2025 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received a congratulatory message from his Nicaraguan counterpart, Mr. José Daniel Ortega, on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR).
In his message, José Daniel Ortega expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Republic and the Sahrawi people, stating, "It is with great pride that I extend to you, on behalf of myself, the Nicaraguan people, and the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, our sincere congratulations as you celebrate the 49th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic."
The message added, "On this historic and unforgettable day, we reaffirm the steadfast commitment of the people and government of Nicaragua to defend the right to self-determination of the Sahrawi people and the sovereignty of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic."
