Wilaya of Smara, February 27, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Federation of Institutions in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, Mr. Carmelo Ramírez, reaffirmed today, Thursday, the solidarity of the international solidarity movement and its unwavering support for the just struggle of the Sahrawi people.
During the celebrations commemorating the 49th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic, Ramírez emphasized that "the Sahrawi people and their struggle, under the leadership of the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi Republic, have managed to overcome all difficulties and obstacles, despite not yet achieving its legitimate rights guaranteed by international law and legitimacy."
He also reaffirmed, on behalf of the solidarity movement, their commitment to accompanying the Sahrawi people's struggle until they attain their legitimate right to self-determination and independence.
He praised Algeria's unconditional position in supporting this struggle, which, according to Ramírez, confirms that the solidarity among peoples will inevitably triumph over invasion, aggression, and all conspiracies.
