Kampala (Uganda), January 11, 2025 (SPS) - The extraordinary African Union summit on agricultural development in the African continent commenced today, Saturday, in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, in the presence of the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali.
The Summit aims to prepare and adopt an action plan for the Comprehensive African Agricultural Development Program for the period between 2026 and 2035, along with the issuance of the "Kampala Declaration" as a reference document.
The Summit is held under the slogan "One Voice, One Land," and aims to present an ambitious vision for the immense agricultural potential of the African continent, with a focus on sustainably utilizing these resources.
