Shaheed El-Hafed (Refugee Camps), 9 January 2025 (SPS) - The President of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, confirmed her desire to enhance bilateral relations between her country and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and to elevate them to the highest levels.
In a message sent to the President of the Repulic, Mr. Brahim Ghali, in response to the congratulatory message he sent her on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of Tanzania's independence, the Tanzanian President praised the level of friendship and solidarity between the two countries and peoples.
Ms. Suluhu Hassan reiterated in her message her commitment to "continuing to work to strengthen the excellent relations between Tanzania and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and to expand the scope of cooperation to include areas of mutual interest."
