Shaheed El Hafed, 30 March 2024 (SPS) - The Ministry of Occupied Territories and Diaspora Affairs has commended the efforts of the Sahrawi diaspora in various regions of the world in defending the cause of their homeland and their awareness and conviction that they are an external front of struggle in extension of the liberation battle inside the occupied territory.
The ministry issued an evaluative statement regarding the positive efforts and the symbolic struggles expressed in various celebrations that marked the commemoration of the 48th anniversary of the declaration of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic in different locations where the Sahrawi community is present.
The ministry praised the "level of awareness and consciousness" demonstrated by the Sahrawi community in various regions of their presence, especially during the commemoration events of the 48th anniversary of the Sahrawi Republic's declaration.
It considered the "enthusiastic competition filled with feelings of patriotism, loyalty, and commitment to commemorate the event, especially in all the places where the Sahrawi community is spread across Europe, in Belgium, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, reflecting a deep awareness and clear understanding of the responsibilities and hopes placed on the Sahrawis within the framework of the goals and principles of the Polisario Front, as well as the preservation and development of the gains of the independent Sahrawi state."
The statement adds that these are the same noble battles reflected in the struggles of the Sahrawi people in the occupied territories, southern Morocco, Moroccan universities, and the branches of the diaspora in the south and north.
