SPLA units target Moroccan occupation army positions in Um Dreiga sector

Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), 2 November 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Um Dreiga sector, inflicting significant losses on their ranks.

According to a military communiqué issued by the Ministry of National Defence, and as part of the ongoing war of attrition, advanced detachments of Sahrawi fighters carried out concentrated bombardments early on Sunday, targeting positions of the Moroccan occupation army in the Akalab El Kamouna area of the Um Dreiga sector.
