Auserd Wilaya, August 7, 2026 (SPS) – The Wilaya of Auserd has hosted the International Student and Youth Solidarity Forum with the Sahrawi People, with the participation of student and youth delegations expressing solidarity with the Sahrawi people and their just cause.
The day's program featured a lecture entitled "The Political and Historical Dimensions of the Sahrawi Cause," jointly delivered by National Secretariat member, Minister of Cooperation, Fatma El Mehdi, and the Ambassador in charge of Asia, Ibrahim Mokhtar Boumakhrouta.
Participants also attended a lecture on "The Political Participation of Women and Youth," jointly presented by National Secretariat member, Head of the Secretariat for Cadre Development, Mass Organizations and Civil Society within the Secretariat of Political Organization, Anguia Salem, and the Director of Information and Awareness at the Ministry of Public Health, Hayai Ahmed Baba Hayai.
The forum is being organized concurrently with the Fifth Congress of the Union of Students of Saguia El-Hamra and Rio de Oro (UESARIO), with the aim of strengthening international solidarity with the Sahrawi cause and engaging youth and friendly organizations in supporting the Sahrawi people's struggle for freedom and independence.
