Shaheed El Hafed, 07 February 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received today, Saturday, Mr. José María Costa, who has played a key role in raising awareness of the Sahrawi cause within Spanish circles since the 1980s.
During the meeting, President Brahim Ghali briefed solidarity activist José María Costa on the latest developments of the Sahrawi cause at all levels, especially following the recent Resolution 2797/2025.
For his part, Mr. José María Costa expressed his happiness at the reception granted to him by President Brahim Ghali, renewing his support for the Sahrawi people and their just cause, and affirming his full readiness to continue providing support and solidarity with the Sahrawi people.
The President of the Republic honored Mr. José María Costa in recognition of his contributions to supporting and promoting the Sahrawi cause.
