Shaheed Hafed, September 29, 2025 (SPS) – President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received on Monday the new Director of National Television, Mr. Sid Ahmed Ahmed Mahmoud.
During the meeting, the President listened to the opinions and proposals of the new Director regarding the Television Directorate, aimed at contributing to the development and improvement of professional conditions and enhancing media discourse in the face of enemy propaganda.
The meeting also discussed prospects for developing the National Television institution as a front of national media.
President Brahim Ghali had issued a presidential decree appointing Sid Ahmed Ahmed Mahmoud as the Director of National Television, succeeding Mohamed Salem Ahmed Laabeid, who was recalled for other duties.
