President Brahim Ghali awards Medal of Republic to supporters of Sahrawi cause

Wilaya of Auserd, April 9, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, awarded the Medal of the Republic to supporters of Sahrawi cause, on the sidelines of their participation in the official celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic.

The honorees include Spaniard Carmelo Ramírez, German Professor Manfred Hinz, Chilean Esteban Silva Cuadra, and the Swiss couple Christiane Perregaux and her husband, Vertier Perregaux.

This recognition comes in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in raising awareness about the Sahrawi cause and supporting the struggle of the Sahrawi people for freedom and independence.
