Shaheed El Hafed, 08 December 2025 (SPS) – The Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, President of the Republic, Mr. Brahim Ghali, called on the European Union to stop circumventing the rulings of the European Court of Justice.
In his speech at the opening of the 8th ordinary session of the National Secretariat, Mr. Brahim Ghali stated: “The European Union is more obliged than anyone else to respect international law, international humanitarian law, and European law itself, and to stop its shameful attempts to bypass these laws by passing agreements with Morocco aimed at plundering and stealing the wealth of the Sahrawi people, who are the sole sovereign owners of Western Sahara.”
In a related context, he emphasized that the Sahrawi people are still waiting for the Spanish state—the legally responsible administering power of Western Sahara—to assume its responsibilities in completing the decolonization process, instead of its humiliating submission to extortion and its blatant alignment with Morocco’s greedy expansionist agenda, which threatens all Morocco’s neighbors, including Spain itself.
