Shaheed Al-Hafed, April 28, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic , Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, chaired Sunday an emergency meeting attended by members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, the General Staff of the Army, the Ministries of Interior, Justice, Economic and Financial Affairs, governors, and leaders of security agencies.
According to a statement from the Presidency’s Media Office, President Brahim Ghali emphasized throughout his interventions the necessity of focusing on the decisive battle and securing victory by achieving independence and freedom. He called for unity and steadfastness in the face of all conspiracies and schemes orchestrated by the enemy and its allies, aimed at eliminating the Sahrawi people and undermining the sanctity and nobility of their just cause. He stressed linking this achievement with eliminating all forms of security breaches, legal violations, and various negative phenomena that have recently affected Sahrawi society.
The statement added that the meeting was held to achieve several key objectives, most notably unifying the efforts of national institutions—including security agencies, military, and civilian authorities—and strengthening coordination among them to combat and confront various security threats. It also aimed to counter the despicable conspiracy that seeks to tarnish the integrity and nobility of the Sahrawi people’s sacred struggle to establish the sovereignty of the Sahrawi state over its entire national territory and achieve independence.
