Shaheed Al-Hafed, February 26, 2025 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, expressed his condemnation of France’s attempts to trample on international legitimacy and the values of freedom and human rights.
In his speech on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the declaration of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, President Brahim Ghali stated, "Colonial France has not hesitated to blatantly disregard all values and principles of freedom, democracy, justice, human rights, and international legitimacy, which it has long claimed to defend."
He added, "It has now become evident that Morocco's aggressive actions, along with its previous efforts to legitimize the occupation through settlement, resource plundering, and involving external parties in illegal activities on the occupied territories - politically, economically, culturally, and otherwise—were orchestrated with the encouragement and support of the same colonial powers that conspired with Morocco in the invasion of Western Sahara since October 31, 1975."
President Brahim Ghali emphasized that the Sahrawi people's insistence on clinging to their rights, their land, and their right to self-defense, along with their legendary steadfastness for over half a century, has compelled these powers, which sponsor and protect Morocco, to reveal their true, ugly colonial face, colluding with Morocco's expansionist agenda.
