Shaheed El Hafed, January 4, 2025 (SPS) - The President of the Republic , Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, confirmed that the year 2024 witnessed serious developments on the international stage and in the region in general.
In his speech during the annual conference on foreign relations, President Brahim Ghali stressed that the year 2024 saw alarming developments on the international stage and at the regional level, reaching very concerning limits, with blatant aggressions and violations of international legitimacy, which threaten to undermine the foundations upon which the international system is built.
The national cause, President Brahim Ghali said, has maintained its presence and international legal status at the United Nations, despite the frantic attempts by the Moroccan occupying state and those behind it to undermine its nature as a decolonization issue or its foundational resolution through the self-determination of its people, or the status of the Polisario as the sole legitimate representative of the Sahrawi people.
In this context, President Brahim Ghali emphasized that the conference is required to explore the best ways to ensure efficiency and to develop and diversify diplomatic methods, in accordance with the demands of the current phase, safeguarding achievements and strengthening them, and preparing well for all upcoming challenges.
