Shaheed El-Hafed, October 21, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received a delegation from the Basque region in Spain, which is currently visiting the Sahrawi refugee camps. The meeting took place at the Presidency of Republic.
During the meeting, the President praised the visit of the Spanish delegation to the Sahrawi refugee camps, expressing the deep gratitude of the Sahrawi people for the solidarity and support shown by friendship and solidarity associations in the Basque region towards the Sahrawi people's struggle and its just cause.
President Brahim Ghali informed the delegation about the developments in the national cause and the achievements made by the Sahrawi people on both national and international levels, emphasizing that they will continue their struggle until the fulfillment of their national goals, for which they have made immense sacrifices, namely freedom and independence, especially in the context of the ongoing war.
The delegation had previously visited various national institutions, where they observed how programs were being implemented.
