Algiers, July 21, 2024 (SPS) - The Secretary-General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW), Ms Shaba Seiny, met with women's organizations from Algerian civil society.
Ms Shaba Seiny met with members of the National Office of the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars, and the discussion focused on the Sahrawi issue and the role of the Sahrawi women, who is considered one of the pillars of Sahrawi society and who has played a major role in building the institutions of the Sahrawi state.
During the meeting, it was decided to allocate a corner about the work of the Sahrawi women in the newspaper Al-Basair of the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars to introduce the struggle of the Sahrawi women and the work they provide for the Sahrawi national cause.
