Managua (Nicaragua), July 17, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Trade Union “UGTSARIO” is participating in the International Trade Union Forum in Nicaragua, alongside with more than forty delegates from 25 countries.
The opening ceremony of the International Trade Union Forum, which was held at the Olof Palme Conference Center under the theme "45 Years of Achievements and Revolutionary Progress", was attended by the Nicaraguan Minister of Labor, Alba Luz Torres.
The three-day forum has a rich program that includes lectures related to trade union work, including a lecture on the Sahrawi issue. Participants will also attend the forty-fifth anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista Revolution.
The Sahrawi Trade Union “UGTSARIO” is represented at this forum by the member of the Union's Executive Office in Charge of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr. Al-Mami Abeidi.
