Sahrawi Association condemns Moroccan occupation's seizure of Sahrawi homes

Occupied El Aaiún, July 16, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Association of Victims of Serious Human Rights Violations Committed by the Moroccan State (ASVDH) expressed in a statement its strong condemnation of the seizure of homes and lands owned by Sahrawi families in the occupied parts of Western Sahara.

The ASVDH affirmed its full and unconditional solidarity with all Sahrawis who are victims of the crime of forced displacement, land confiscation, and the expansion of settlements, which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The ASVDH held the United Nations and its mission to Western Sahara fully responsible for the crimes the Sahrawis are subjected to by the Moroccan occupation, which threaten their right to life and existence.
