Basque (Spain), March 17, 2024 (SPS) - Ms. Shaba Seini, Secretary General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW), concluded her working visit to the Basque region at the invitation of the Friendship Association with the Sahrawi People in Vitoria.
At the end of the visit, Ms. Shaba Seini held meetings with the mayors of several municipalities and representatives of friendship associations with the Sahrawi people. The meetings focused on discussing ways of cooperation and supporting the struggle of Sahrawi women in various fields of struggle and supporting the national cause.
The Secretary General also visited several women's centers, where the meetings focused on the pioneering experience of the National Union of Sahrawi Women in bringing work closer to the grassroots through the women's centers of the union in each wilaya and transferring the experience to our women in the occupied territories.
