Shaheed Al Hafed, 13 November 2023 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Mr. Brahim Ghali, inaugurated today, Monday, the 13 November military base, in the presence of members of the National Secretariat, the government, the General Staff of the Army, and representatives of the military regions.
The 13 November military base is another cornerstone to reinforce the combat capabilities of the Sahrawi fighter in the various specializations dictated by the current phase. It will also play a prominent role in the preparation and training of the Sahrawi fighter according to training methods that take into account the current situation, which is characterized by the reality of war.
The inauguration of the 13 November military base comes three years after the resumption of the armed struggle, following the Moroccan violation of the ceasefire agreement, the escalation of the conflict, and the return to square one.
During the inauguration of the military base, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces emphasized the "necessity to preserve this important achievement and to perform the assigned tasks with dedication, seriousness, and selflessness in service to the nation."
During the inauguration process, the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Front, and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces honored some military officials who contributed to the preparation, planning, and programming.
