President of Republic praises "qualitative" participation distinguished First International Forum for Cultural Exchange for Peace

Shahid El-Hafed (Refugee Camps), 28 October 2023 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, praised the "qualitative" participation that characterized the first edition of the International Forum for Cultural Exchange for Peace in the Sahrawi refugee camps, and called for the need to ensure the continuation of this type of meeting that contributes to the establishment of peace between peoples.

This came during President Ghali's reception, Friday, of the foreign delegations participating in the international forum, where he called on their members to support the struggle of the Sahrawi people and its just cause, commending the efforts made by the attendees in this meeting.

President Brahim Ghali praised the "qualitative" participation that characterized the first edition of the international forum, pointing out that the delegations present "plant love and peace in the world and contribute to the convergence of views among peoples."

The President of the Republic called on the participating delegations to "work together to find ways to ensure the continuation of this type of forum that contributes to the establishment of peace in the world among nations," stressing the readiness of the Sahrawi Republic and the Polisario Front to ensure the conditions conducive to its success.

The participants in the First International Forum for Cultural Exchange for Peace, which kicked off its activities last Tuesday in the Sahrawi refugee camps, emphasized the role of this event in expressing solidarity with the Sahrawi people, as it serves as a platform for spreading the values of peace that peoples aspire to.

The forum was held under the slogan "Peace in the Family" and was attended by researchers, intellectuals from several countries, as well as individuals interested in the topic of the forum.
