Windhoek (Namibia), March 21, 2025 (SPS) - The President of the Republic , Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, was received today, Friday, by the new Namibian President, Ms. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, on the sidelines of her inauguration ceremony and the celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of Namibia's independence.
After congratulating his host on her victory in the Namibian presidential elections, the President of the Republic reviewed the developments in the Sahrawi issue and bilateral relations between the Sahrawi Republic and the Republic of Namibia, as well as ways to strengthen them with Namibia's new leadership.
The two sides also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the Republic presented symbolic gifts to the Namibian President.
