Wilaya of Auserd, February 25, 2025 (SPS) - The wilaya of Auserd is hosting today, Tuesday, the proceedings of the international conference for municipalities that are twinned and in solidarity with the Sahrawi people, which will take place over two days, February 25 and 26.
In a statement to the Sahrawi News Agency (SPS), Fatima Mehdi, Minister of Cooperation, indicated that the international twinning conference is attended by around 300 participants and supporters, during which the experience of twinning with Sahrawi municipalities will be evaluated.
The minister added that during the conference, messages of solidarity with the Sahrawi people will be conveyed, along with reports presented by various provinces regarding their twinning experiences, as well as a presentation from the Ministry of Cooperation on topics related to cooperation and twinning.
Furthermore, the Minister of Cooperation stated that the international conference will include audio contributions from Algeria, Spain, Italy, and France, in addition to interventions from the first municipalities that established twin relationships with Sahrawi Dairas and wilayas in the early 1980s.
