Shaheed El-Hafed, 16 October 2023 (SPS) - The Polisario Front has renewed its affirmation that the only solution to the conflict lies in strict adherence to the clear legal framework of the Western Sahara issue as a decolonization matter.
In a statement issued following the proceedings of its Permanent Bureau, chaired by the President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, the Polisario Front emphasized that the only solution to the conflict is one that inevitably entails strict adherence to its clear legal framework as a decolonization issue, which can be resolved by enabling the Sahrawi people to exercise their inalienable right to self-determination and independence.
In the same context, the National Secretariat's Permanent Bureau reiterated its condemnation of the practices of the Moroccan occupying state, which have intensified following its blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement on 13 November 2023, in the occupied territories and southern Morocco, including repression, siege, looting of natural resources, and seizure of lands and properties.
