Shahid al-Hafed, October 12, 2023 (SSP) - The President of the Republic and the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, supervised yesterday the launch of the Sahrawi Press Agency website in its new look, http://new.spsrasd.info on the eve of the celebration of the forty-eighth anniversary of National Unity.
The event was attended by a Member of the National Secretariat, responsible for the Secretariat of Research, Information and Studies, Mrs. Maalouma Larbas; the Minister of Information, Mr. Hamada Salma, the Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic in charge of Information and the Arab World, Mrs. Nana Labat Al-Rashid; the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Media and Legislation Committee of the National Council; and the staff of the Sahrawi News Agency.
The website, in its new form, seeks to keep pace with the technological renaissance taking place in the media arena through websites that transmit news on a daily basis, so that its new features are in line with what the written press requires via websites in this new era.
The website also allows the journalist to update news flexibly, accurately and with high quality through the new amendments.
As a reminder, the President of the Republic made an inspection visit to the headquarters of the Sahrawi Press Agency last August and gave his instructions on the necessity of updating the agency’s website and identifying the most important concerns of the journalists working there.
