Sahrawi President congratulates President Masisi for Botswana’s Independence Day

Gaborone (Botswana) 30 September 2024 (SPS)- The President of the Sahrawi Republic, Brahim Ghali, sent a letter of congratulations Today to the President of Botswana, Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi, on the occasion of the celebration by the people and Government of Botswana of their 58th Independence Day.

Following is the full text of the Letter, of which SPS received a copy:

Excellency,

On behalf of the people and the Government of the Saharawi Republic and my own behalf, I have the pleasure to extend to you and through you to the people and the Government of the republic of Botswana my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of your country’s National Day.

This auspicious occasion offers us yet another opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to continue working closely together in enhancing the excellent relations that exist between our two countries. I am confident that the bonds of friendship and co-operation that our two countries enjoy will continue to grow stronger.
