Mexico City (Mexico), September 30, 2024 (SPS) – Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Prime Minister, Mr. Bushraya Hamoudi Beyoun, arrived Monday in Mexico City, representing the President of the Republic, Secretary- General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, at the inauguration ceremony of the president-elect of the United Mexican States, Ms. Claudia Sheinbaum, on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister was received at Mexico City International Airport by the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Maria Teresa Mercado, accompanied by officials from the Mexican Foreign Ministry, along with the Sahrawi Ambassador, Mr. Mukhtar Labehi.
Mexico has recognized the Sahrawi Republic since 1979, this year, the two sisterly countries celebrate the 45th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
