Tunis, July 07, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Republic is participating in the meeting of the Specialized Technical Committee on Economy, Finance, Planning and Economic Integration hosted by the capital Tunis.
The session, attended by the Minister of Economic and Financial Affairs Mohamed Moloud Mohamed Fadel, focused on studying ways to enhance the coordination of macroeconomic policies and sectoral policies in Africa, identifying the main challenges and opportunities available and the existing priorities, in order to ensure inclusive growth and sustainable development in Africa.
The meeting also discussed the ideas and measures necessary to achieve inclusive economic growth in Africa and ways to achieve it through the mobilization of Africa's abundant resources for that purpose.
On the other hand, the session reviewed and adopted the experts' report, and the recommendations of the Ministers, and also discussed and endorsed the Ministerial Declaration emanating from the Tunis session.
This meeting provided an opportunity for the Sahrawi delegation to discuss with Ministers from African countries ways of joint work and deepening bilateral cooperation and exchange.
The Sahrawi Republic also participated in the experts' meeting, represented by Salama Lahbib, from the Ministry of Economic and Financial Affairs.
