Panamanian Minister of Foreign Affairs receives Sahrawi ambassador

Panama City, July 2, 2024 (SPS) - The Panamanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Javier Martínez Acha, received this morning the Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to the Republic of Panama, Mr. Sidahmed Al-Salek Derbali.

During meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Panamanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed the friendly and fraternal relations between the Sahrawi Republic and the Republic of Panama since the seventies of the last century, and the need to deepen and strengthen them for the benefit of the two peoples and countries.

It is worth noting that the Republic of Panama will assume the seat of a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for two years starting next January. (SPS)
