Sahrawi Republic participates in 13th African Games, meeting of African Ministers of Youth and Sports in held in Ghana

Accra (Ghana), March 09, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Republic is participating in the 13th African Games which are being held in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, from March 08 to 23.

The opening ceremony, which was attended by about 50 African countries, was attended by the Ghanaian authorities, and a meeting of African Ministers of Youth and Sports was also organized on the sidelines of the event.

The Sahrawi Republic was represented by a delegation including the regional director of youth and sports in the wilaya of El Aaiun, Mohamed Sidahemed Boukhalida, the director of human resources at the ministry, Warda Hamoudi, and the chargé d'affaires of the Sahrawi embassy in Accra, Mr. Sidahemed Laoud.
