Sahrawi Ambassador to Kenya signs condolence book at embassy of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

Nairobi (Kenya), July 8, 2026 (SPS) – The Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to the Republic of Kenya, Mohamed Limam Mohamed Ali Sidi El Bashir, signed the book of condolences for the victims of the Venezuela earthquake at the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Kenya, following the two devastating earthquakes that struck the country on June 24, 2026.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), the Ambassador expressed his deepest condolences to the Government and people of Venezuela, particularly to the families affected by the disaster. He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured and extended his heartfelt sympathies and support to all those impacted.

Ambassadors and members of diplomatic missions accredited to the Republic of Kenya also signed the condolence book at the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the wake of the devastating earthquakes.

The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Kenya had opened the condolence book on July 7, 2026, in memory of the victims of the earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, 2026.

It is worth recalling that Sahrawi President Brahim Ghali had earlier sent a message of condolence to the Acting President of Venezuela following the two powerful earthquakes that struck the capital, Caracas, resulting in a large number of fatalities and injuries. In his message, President Brahim Ghali extended his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the Government and people of Venezuela over this tragic disaster.
