Shaheed El-Hafed, 29 March 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, expressed his condolences to Algeria, its government and people, on the passing of former Algerian President Liamine Zéroual, in a message of condolence sent today, Sunday, to his Algerian President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
President Brahim Ghali said that Algeria has lost one of its great men and distinguished national figures who inscribed their names in golden letters in the record of loyalty, patriotism, and dedication in serving the nation.
He noted that the late leader played a remarkable role in Algeria’s history, working alongside his companions and with the Algerian people in general, with wisdom, responsibility, and determination, to overcome one of the most difficult and complex periods the country has experienced.
