Algiers, 11 January 2026 (SPS) – Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to Algeria, Mr. Khatri Adouh, received the President of the Algerian Youth Organization, Mr. Mohsen Fares, accompanied by the organization’s officials.
The meeting addressed relations of solidarity between the Sahrawi and Algerian peoples, particularly in the youth field, as well as prospects for developing and strengthening these relations across several areas.
During the meeting, the Algerian youth delegation expressed its solidarity with and support for the Sahrawi cause, affirming its readiness to support Sahrawi youth and to organize joint events, programs, and activities to raise awareness of the Sahrawi issue at various levels.
For his part, the ambassador briefed the Algerian youth delegation on the situation of Sahrawi youth in the occupied territories and the repressive practices and systematic violations they are subjected to by the Moroccan Makhzen security services, in addition to the harassment, prosecutions, and surveillance carried out by the Moroccan occupation in the occupied part of Western Sahara.
