Shaheed El Hafed, 14 December 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, chaired an expanded meeting that brought together executives of the Sahrawi State and the Polisario Front.
The meeting was devoted to discussing key issues related to the Sahrawi cause, through a review of the current international situation facing the national cause on all fronts, particularly following the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 2797 (2025).
During the meeting, the internal political communiqué issued by the 8th ordinary session of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, held on 8–9 December, was read out. The communiqué provided an in-depth analysis of the situation of the Sahrawi cause at the regional, continental, and international levels, and highlighted the need to mobilize capacities and unite efforts to ensure that the national cause rises to the level of the challenges it faces.
The communiqué also stressed the necessity of selecting and ensuring the readiness of human resources across the various fronts—military, media, diplomatic, and cultural, as well as at the level of the occupied territories—in order to win the decisive battle being waged by the Sahrawi people under the leadership of the vanguard of their national struggle, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguia el-Hamra and Rio de Oro (Polisario Front).
