Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), June 27, 2025 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan enemy bases in the Smara sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment, indicated a military statement issued by the army's Political Directorate.
The statement reported: "Advanced units of our army carried out a concentrated bombardment today, Friday, targeting the enemy's rear bases in the Smara sector. The strikes sowed panic and fear among enemy soldiers and their leadership, with thick columns of smoke seen rising from the targeted areas."
The statement added," the Moroccan enemy defense system failed to repel our army's attacks," reaffirming the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army's commitment to continuing its heroic military operations "until the expulsion of the occupying invaders from our land."
