Shaheed El Hafed, April 2, 2026 (SPS) – Member of the National Secretariat, Speaker of the National Council, Mr. Bashir Mustapha Sayed, emphasized on Thursday, during a technical meeting held at the headquarters of the National Council and attended by the Vice Speaker, the Secretary-General, and central directors, the importance of highlighting the significance and symbolism of the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic as a pivotal event in the history of the Sahrawi people.
The Speaker of the National Council reviewed a set of proposals to organize open days addressing issues of public concern, bringing viewpoints closer together, and mobilizing the relevant authorities to confront various challenges, overcome difficulties, and improve governance across different sectors, while strengthening internal cohesion and public services.
In addition, he proposed organizing study days and seminars on laws and their revision in order to ensure their effective implementation and achieve the desired goals in consolidating a state based on the rule of law.
