Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), March 19, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent a message of congratulations to his Algerian counterpart, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in which he expressed his greetings on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr.
In his congratulatory message, the President said: “As the Islamic nation prepares to welcome the blessed Eid al-Fitr, allow me to extend to Your Excellency, in my own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Sahrawi Republic and, through you, to the brotherly Algerian people, my warmest congratulations and sincere wishes. I pray to Almighty God to return this occasion to you personally with abundant health, well-being, and success, and to Algeria as a whole with further progress, advancement, and prosperity.”
On this occasion, President Brahim Ghali also reaffirmed his firm determination to strengthen the deep-rooted relations of brotherhood, friendship, and good-neighbourliness between the two brotherly peoples and countries, and to work together to achieve a just and final peace throughout the region, in cooperation with all its peoples and countries, on clear foundations of respect for international legitimacy, good-neighbourliness, and mutual respect.
