Luanda (Angola), 26 November 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, concluded on Wednesday his visit to the sister Republic of Angola after participating in the activities of the 7th African Union–European Union Summit.
The President of the Republic was bid farewell at Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport by the Director of Protocol and the Governor of Luanda Province, where a military band presented him with an honorary salute.
The President of the Republic took part in the summit’s proceedings, which were hosted by the Angolan capital, Luanda, on Sunday and Monday. He also held meetings with several heads of state and participating delegations, in addition to a meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres. He attended the reception hosted by Angolan President João Lourenço on Monday evening in honor of the attending delegations.
Accompanying the President of the Republic on his visit to Angola was a delegation that included Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Affairs Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, Ambassador to Angola and Namibia Hamdi El-Khalil Mayara, Presidential Advisor Abdati Breika, Advisor in charge of the Arab World Nana Labbat Rachid, and the ambassador in charge of presidential protocol Salha Al-Abd.
